Chamari Athapaththu - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Decided to go early on the (not wholly unfair) assumption that the England T20 today will take longer than 3 hours to complete.

Weekly Top 5

1. Chamari Athapaththu - 340 - Was already scheduled to finish near the top before she scored 91 runs in the third ODI against the West Indies today. Joins Azam and Buttler with the joint most Cricketers of the Week for the year.

2. Travis Head - Averaged 4 points a week in the first fortnight of the World Cup but has scored nearly 300 since then. Finishes in the Top 5 for the second consecutive week.

3. Phil Salt - 158 - Continues to impress, averaging 121.67 across the 3 World Cup weeks. Moves up a place to 8th on the Overall List.

4. Harry Brook - 117 - Had his best score in nearly 2 months this week despite not being called upon in the West Indies game. Moves up a place overall to 19th - a huge gap of 276 sits between him and Mitchell Marsh in 18th however.

5. Glenn Maxwell - 85 - It has been a torrid year for The Big Show but he has scored 193 points in the last fortnight. He hasn't had a more profligate fortnight since February where he bagged 313 in Weeks 7 & 8.

Overall Top 5

1. Babar Azam - 2647 - A disappointing campaign for Pakistan and a mediocre one for their current captain. He averaged 77 points per World Cup Week but, more importantly has seen his lead on second place shrink by 101 points.

2. Chamari Athapaththu - 2329 - Is in a little realm of her own at the moment. With 318 points above her and 367 points below her, she may be sat in second for a little while.

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal - 1962 - Can count himself a very lucky boy that those below him scored so meagrely this week. He will struggle to hold onto third place for an eight week.

4. James Vince - 1932 - Just 25 points from Vince this week but manages to hold onto 4th by the skin of his teeth. Fifth place is 56 points behind him with 6th 81 away and 7th 142 away. It is all to play for.

5. Travis Head - 1876 - Has put his poor form behind him and reclaims a Top 5 place he lost 3 weeks ago. He has never been higher but just 56 points kept him off top this week.

Other Movers

Marnus Labuschagne scored his lowest score for 5 active weeks but still manages to edge up the table, up to 14th.

Top Three Averages

1. Chamari Athapaththu - 179.15 (Up from 165.75)
2. Babar Azam - 155.71 (Down from 162.81)
3. Jos Buttler - 123.4 (Down from 128.29)

In a strange state of affairs Athapaththu , the person with the highest average, moved up the most this week; whilst Azam, the person with the second highest average, moved down the most.
