Jos Buttler - The Best Cricketer of the Week

 

The Weekly Top 5

1. Jos Buttler- 263 - Perhaps shockingly, this is Buttler's first Cricketer of the Week award this year. His 153runs across two games now takes him to within one of Babar Azam's tally of 19 Cricketers of the Week; only Harmer has more.

2. Rachin Ravindra - 224 - Exploding with points at the point. Nobody has scored more than his 1077 points in the month of July. In that time he has moved up from 16th to 7th.

3.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 201 - Everyone's favourite adolescent is back in cricket's good graces with 101 runs from two T20s against Zimbabwe. Is scheduled to make his red ball debut at the end of next month which should prove interesting if nothing else.

4. Michael Bracewell - 96 - A huge descent down in points from third to fourth; also a bit of a point difference from his 309 last week - but three wickets in the Global Super League is enough for fourth.

5. Harry Brook - 95 - A 17 ball 42 against Manchester sees Brook round off our Top 5 this week.

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3458 - Takes lead back up to over 500 points and with 59% of the year gone we ask ourselves once again; could he lead the way for the duration of 2026?

2. Jos Buttler - 2873 - His highest point score of the week also comes with a complimentary promotion to second position.

3. Simon Harmer - 2822 - Back in action in the One Day Cup, however is forced down a place as thanks.

4. Sam Curran - 2434 - His score this week was hampered by missing one of the three MI London games. He did enough in the two games to move up to fourth.

5. Shubman Gill - 2384 - After all he did in the series against England, one inactive week has seen him down to fifth. Another one may see him out of the Top 5 all together with Brook 110 behind him.
