Travis Head - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Overall Top 5

1. Travis Head - 218 - Head was the biggest beneficiary from the dead rubber ODI where South Africa handed out centuries like they were free samples. He moves up three places courtesy of this, his first Cricketer of the Week of the year.

2. Annabel Sutherland - 217 - Only Sam Curran and Harry Brook have scored more points during The Hundred than the Aussie allrounder. Over that time she has moved from 19th to 13th overall.

3. Jos Buttler - 165 - Started The Hundred in dodgy form but has worked his way back to his best. This is his third successive week in the Weekly Top 5.

4. Harry Brook - 156 - Was the standout man in that standout game against The Oval this week. He has at least one more game in The Hundred to keep up his good Summer.

5. Kane Williamson - 156 - Has maybe flown under the radar a little during his inaugural season captaining London but ends the tournament with 364 points. This was his highest scoring week courtesy of a half century against the South.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran - 3887 - Outside the Top 5 for weekly scores this week but still has a triple figure points score for the week and a 694-point lead in the top spot.

2. Jos Buttler - 3193 - Another good week for Buttler allows him to keep his second place position for a second week.

3. Liam Dawson - 3097 - Had his best week of The Hundred with five wickets across 2 games for London. Holds third place for a second week.

4. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 2966 - The Hundred's second highest run scorer got another 90 this week. With no pressure below her, her lead on fifth is now 162.

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 2804 - Inactive for a third week. His lead on sixth place 279 is still second highest on any other position on The List.

Other Movers

Whilst the entire Top Ten remained static there was plenty of movement from the bottom half. Jamie Smith, Liam Livingstone and Adam Zampa all moved up a place to 11th, 18th and 22,d respectively.

Top 3 Averages

1. Sam Curran -  169 (Down from 170)
2. Chamari Athapaththu -143.6
3. Nat Sciver-Brunt – 141.24 (Down from 141.3)

Travis Head's weekly high score sells his average by 6.97 to a (still unimpressive) 92.53. Heinrich Klaasen's poor Hundred campaign sees his average drop to 90.96.

Harry Brook - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Weekly Top 5

1. Harry Brook - 329 - Would have got to the top spot without his little foray in The Hundred last night. His bumper score sees him move up 5 places to 11th spot. Should move into the Top ten over the coming weeks.

2. Saim Ayub - 203 - His serious injury in the first week of the year and the rehabilitation for it has really affected Ayub, however he contributed all across the board this week for his highest score of 2025.

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal - 150 - Up until this week was a bit of a disappointment in the Test series against England. Of our 7 players to have featured on either side only Bumrah scored fewer runs...for obvious reasons. Finished well though.

4. Sam Curran - 109 - Has carried on his strong form into a third competition of the Summer. This is now his 11th week scoring three figures or more. Last year this was the tournament where he scored the majority of his points so he could be odds on to continue that spell.

5. Ravindra Jadeja - 102 - Our most impressive player over the England/India series ends with a decent 102 which takes him to 1016 points for the series. It is, however, his quietest Test out of the five.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran - 3228 - Marks a month at the top of the list...and it's starting to look a bit foreboding. He scored huge amounts of points in The Hundred last year and already has a lead of 329 points on second - there is no gap bigger on the whole of The List.

2. Liam Dawson - 2899 - Didn't formally feature in the final Test but managed 74 in his first game in the Hundred.

3. Ravindra Jadeja - 2804 - Has used the England/India series to firmly ensconce himself into that Top Three....however might have been hoping for higher. No immediate cricket on the horizon for him however.

4. Jos Buttler - 2632 - A score of 82 this week with just under half of that coming from his glovework....more to come you would think.

5. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 2500 - Inactive this week but will pick up her first points of The Hundred on Friday afternoon when Birmingham play Trent Bridge.

Other Movers

Annabel Sutherland returns to cricket after a huge 19 week gap. The last time she played she was 3rd....her 88 points in The Hundred sees her move up a spot to 19th.

Top 3 Averages

1. Sam Curran - 161.4 (Down from 164.42)
2. Chamari Athapaththu -143.6
3. Nat Sciver-Brunt – 142.69

Harry Brook's blockbuster score sees his average up by 15.11 points - he now averages 117.4 a week. Kane Williamson's change in fortunes sees him drop by 5.85 - down to 114.21.

Jos Buttler - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Top 5 for the Week

1. Jos Buttler - 230 - His points had been gradually declining throughout The Hundred but was back in a big way this week; with 120 runs across two games. This is his third Cricketer of the Week performance making 2023 the best of his three years on our Lists.

2. Harry Brook - 187 - Scored his obligatory century in each Short Format franchise competition he plays in and gets second place. If it wasn't for the flop against Manchester he could have bagged his first Cricketer of the Week.

3. Jonny Bairstow - 124 - Had two awful games last week and scored 3 points. This week he performed 4100% better and finished third.

4. Devon Conway - 120 - Is rather enjoying his time at The Rose Bowl. He has scored triple figure point scores in back to back weeks this week and finishes fourth once more.

5. Moeen Ali - 116 - Back in the points again and, inexplicably, still creeping up the Overall Table. Despite having the second worst average points per active week (86.73) He is now up to 11th place. Having only missed 8 weeks of cricket also helps.

Overall Top 5

1. Shakib Al Hasan - 3867 - Despite scoring the lowest score of any active player this week (47) Shakib manages to extend his lead in first to 135. He has one Asia Cup game against Sri Lanka before next week's deadline to extend that lead.

2. Simon Harmer - 3732 - Inactive this week and will be inactive next week due to Essex's elimination from the Metro Bank One Day Cup. He has a 296 point lead on third place; will that be enough?

3. Jos Buttler - 3436 - His weekly high score sees him to his highest Overall placement in a month. Is guaranteed at least 1 (maybe 2 games) over the next week.

4. Shubman Gill - 3424 - Down one place to fourth. Inactive this week and will also be inactive next week before having two games the week after. With just 164 points off him and 5th spot he may descend further down the overall list.

5. Sam Curran - 3260 - Such are the ups and downs of cricket that Sam Curran scored the highest weekly total last week and then got the lowest one this week. It sees him drop a place overall to 5th.

Other Mover

Rashid Khan finished 6th this week and also moved up to 6th overall courtesy of the two lost ODIs to Pakistan.

Top 3 Averages

1. Shakib Al Hasan - 175.77 (Down from 181.9)
2. Simon Harmer - 169.63
3. Ravindra Jadeja - 165

Shakib Al Hasan's average topples by 6.13 but he still remains comfortably first for the year. Harry Brook's average gets a 4.43 boost thanks to that century vs the Welsh Fire.
