Quinton De Kock - The Best Cricketer of the Week

WeeklyTop 5

1. Quinton De Kock - 214 - Back to decent T20 performances over in America. 114 runs with 70 Strike Rate points across three games for MI New York sees him with his highest score since the end of January.

2. Harry Brook-159 - A deceptively good performance in terms of metrics for Brook. In fact, despite the historically poor series against New Zealand, only Harmer and Gill have scored more points than Brook since the start of the first Test.

3. Paul Walter- 151 - Tall Paul's yo-yo-ing form continues to do just that with a big score this week. Strap yourself in for a meagre one next week. This week he scored Essex's fastest ever half century in 18 balls.

4.Nat Sciver-Brunt- 145 - Captain Fantastic is back with a match-winning performance over South Africa to take England to the World Cup final. Captivating stuff.

5.Nicholas Pooran - 145 - Making hay in the New York sun with a second Top 5 finish in a week. Pulls himself up to 19th - a position he has been no higher than since the end of January.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3075 - Inactive for only the second time in the last thirteen weeks. His lead now a 'mere'764 points.

2. Simon Harmer - 2311 - Harmer never sets the world alight in Blast weeks and this was no different with 87 points in two games.

3.Shubman Gill - 2106 - Inactive this week and holds off fourth place by 80 points.

4. Jos Buttler - 2026 - A rare T20 Blast outing before a washed out England game sees Buttler back in action for the first time since the IPL. Holds fourth for the third week in a row.

5. Quinton De Kock - 1761 - A phenomenal bump up the table as QDK goes from 10th to reclaim a Top 5 spot he lost 6 weeks ago.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 180,88
2. Nat Sciver-Brunt = 153.38 (Down from 154.57)
3. Simon Harmer = 135.95 (Down from 139)

QDK's renaissance week sees him up 6.34 points to 135.46 whilst Curran's solitary T20 matches sees him leak 6.64 to 112 a week.

Shubman Gill - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Weekly Top 5

1. Shubman Gill - 358 - Two stonking ODI innings for the Indian captain sees him claim his 12th All Time Cricketer of the Week - clear in 6th place. Maxwell with 13 is his next target.

2. Simon Harmer - 256 - One of his big scoring weeks against Leicester sees him get a score that would normally be worth a Cricketer of the Week nod. Had to suffice with the silver medal place instead.

3. Nat Sciver-Brunt - 164 - Two (almost) half centuries in England's World Cup campaign - followed by the news she is out of the next two. When she plays she is devastating but those injuries are a concern.

4. Paul Walter - 162 - It's feast or famine for Tall Paul - and this week he has been eating well courtesy of a century against Leicestershire.

5. Sophie Ecclestone- 130 - has been a very poor year for Ecclestone but this week sees her jump off of bottom spot and into 20th thanks to 100 wickets across two World Cup games.

Overall Top 5

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 2911 - 59 runs in two ODIs this week saw him finish 6th for the week and continues to push his lead on first up towards the 1000 point mark.

2. Shubman Gill - 2086 - Two weeks ago jumped from 6th to 4th. This week he has done just the same; o'er-leaping third and alighting at second.

3. Simon Harmer - 2026 - Will feel aggrieved to have remained in third despite Jos Buttler finishing below him and having scored a quarter of a thousand points.

4. Jos Buttler - Inactive and down two places to fourth.

5. Aiden Markram - 1690 - Just about holding on to fifth place against despite a month of scoring 0 points.

Highest Weekly Average

1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi = 181.94 (Down from 186.13)
2. Nat Sciver-Brunt = 154.57 (Up from 153)
3. Shubman Gill = 139.07 (Up from 123.43)

Gill moves up by 15.64 to push into the top three highest average. An underwhelming game from Sam Curran in the County Championship sees him down by 5.77 points to 122.31.

Nat Sciver-Brunt - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Many more points scored this week but from the exact same amount of cricketers. The natural break comes after a Top Three so that is what we shall do.

Weekly Top 3

1. Nat Sciver-Brunt- 237 – Had a (admittedly unimpressive) game washed out but still manages to bag top spot courtesy of a century and a couple of wickets against Sri Lanka.

2. Annabel Sutherland – 230 – Became the top wicket taker of the World Cup this week, largely due to the five-fer she bagged against India.

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal – 213 – Been a bit since he registered an impressive score in Tests but certainly got his dues against West Indies. Moves up three places on the Overall List to 11th.

Overall Top 5

1. Sam Curran – 4148 – Inactive this week but is likely to feature in the T20 series that starts Saturday morning against New Zealand.

2. Jos Buttler- 3807- Inactive this week but will hope to be an instrumental figure in the T20 series that starts Saturday morning against New Zealand.

3. Liam Dawson – 3722 - Inactive this week but may just feature in the T20 series that starts Saturday morning against New Zealand.

4. Nat Sciver – Brunt – 3515 – Despite her weekly high score this week, she just finds herself further sandwiched in fourth place. 207 points separate her from third and 257 from 5th.

5. Ravindra Jadeja – 3258 – His form in the West indies series propels Jadeja into the Top 5 at the expense of Nicholas Pooran.

Other Movers

Two Pakistan players finished off the pace but still managed to move on the Overall List. Saim Ayub continues to improve and moves up to 16th whilst Azam jumps up from bottom place to 22nd after his long respite from Cricket.

Top 3 Averages

1. Sam Curran - 159.94
2.Chamari Athapaththu - 148.29 (Down from 157)
3. Annabel Sutherland - 144.95 (Up from 140.22)

Chamari Athapaththu drops the most - down by 8.71 points but still manages to hold second place. Yashasvi Jaiswal does the best this week with his average up by 5.17 to 109.53.
