One of those weird weeks where everyone plays musical chars. Only 6 of our 22 players stayed in the same place on The Overall List.
Weekly Top 5
1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 256 - Week after week passes and I expect their to be a drop off.....but there just never is. His Strike Rate numbers are absolutely enormous; he has 90 more more than anyone else.
2. Jos Buttler - 233 - Has his best IPL week so far- playing one more game than most helps in that front as well though to be honest. Only Vaibhav has scored more points than him since the start of the IPL.
3. Shubman Gill - 208 Keeps following a pattern of scoring ne stonking score a week and did so again this time out courtesy of a rapid score against Bengalaru yesterday. Moves up 5 places to 12th overall.
4.Michael Bracewell - 165 - Turning into quite a canny little signing for Peshawar. After a big week two weeks ago, he contributed with a score of 85 against Lahore this week.
5. Simon Harmer - 161 - Again, nothing dramatic for Harmer but it is the grind that keeps seeing him move up the List. Averages 158 points per week since the start of the County Championship and is now 7th and 290 points out of the Top 5.
Overall Top 5
1.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 2032 - Your semi-regular reminder that we are now a third of the way through the year and Vaibhav has never been out of first position at any point this year....and he now has nearly half a thousand point lead on second. Extra-ordinary.
2. Aiden Markram- 1602 - Another below par IPL week for Markram - although did only play a solitary game. Needs to watch his back.
3. Quinton De Kock - 1470 - Inactive this week after failing to live up to the pyrotechnics of his return to the Mumbai fold a fortnight ago. His Top three berth is in dire jeopardy.
4. Jos Buttler - 1458 - 729 points since the start of the IPL has seen Buttler move from 10th to the cusp of the Top 3.
5. Saim Ayub- 1419 - Is not hugely forcing his agenda in the PSL. 99 points across three games is a disappointment, as his single place decent down the List. That being said there are 263 points between himself and sixth.
