Nicholas Pooran - The Best Cricketer of the Week

This week is the third lowest scoring week of the year so only a Top 3 this time out.

Weekly Top 3

1. Nicholas Pooran - 217 - Nicky P scored 57% of all points scored this week but did so in a tournament only half a rung up from the standard you see at a kid's birthday party. The rather farcical nature of the Canada Super 60 means that Pooan picked up his first.....and most likely last wicket points with 2 bagged against the mighty Mississauga Masters.

2. Travis Head - 82 - Not many cricketers have scored 22 runs and finished second for the week but Head's contribution this week - aided by 30 Economy points - sees him in silver medal position.

3. Saim Ayub - 69 - Still plugging away with decent scores - will be disappointed to have not been selected for the tour of Sri Lanka but certainly isn't anonymous.

Overall Top 5

1.Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3933 - Only 15 points scored this week but no pressure from below means his lead is 163.

2.Jos Buttler - 3770 - Crocked and sat 48 points below top spot.

3. Simon Harmer - 3722 - Primed for an assault on the Top 2 with his participation in the ongoing Test against Australia.

4. Harry Brook - 3556 - Inactive for the next two weeks before the Tri-Series against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Over half a thousand points split him from fifth.

5. Shubman Gill - 3036 - Only a single point from his final ODI game against West Indies and has Nicholas Pooran breathing down his neck for a miraculous return from bottom place.
