Weekly Top 5
1. Simon Harmer - 352 - Last week I criticised his T20 form....he shot back at that with a frankly flawless spell of low economical bowling and a frankly startling heavy hitting couple of innings this week. He is now one Cricketer of the Week away from his half century.
2. Harry Brook - 234 - Back to the short form and everyone loves Harry again. Some spectacularly big hitting this week to put India to the sword in emphatic fashion.
3. Phil Salt - 189 - Has been beset by poor form and injury this year....but didn't seem like it this week with 129 runs against India in three T20s (one of which he got a duck in....unsure whether that makes it more or less impressive.)
4. Sam Curran - 188 - A fantastic return to bowling for Sam as he bags 80 wicket points this week plus his 48 runs. Always piles on the points in the English Summer and does son again in 2026.
5. Mehidy Hasan Miraz - 187 - Has blagged his way into the Top 5 this week despite his team suffering two ODI losses against Zimbabwe. Only 3 wickets but 60 Economy points and a cameo with the bat boosts him up.
Overall Top 5
1. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi - 3137 - The 15 year old has had the first big setback of his career with his debut for the full India side. And, at the same time, his lead in first drops to below 500 for the first time in months.
2. Simon Harmer - 2663 - His big win this week sees him move dramatically away from 3rd place and dramatically towards first. 474 points separate him from first and 464 from third.
3. Jos Buttler- 2200 - Couple of emphatic wins against India in a T20 series and you assume that Buttler has tucked in...that was not the case this week. Instead he has moved up to third purely on fielding points, of which he got 100 this week.
4. Shubman Gill -2106 - Inactive this week and back down to fourth.
5. Harry Brook - 1955 - Back into the Top 5 having scored 100_ points in three weeks on the bounce. De Kock, last week's holder of fifth, has been knocked down to 7th with Curran in 6th.
