Ravindra Jadeja - The Best Cricketer of the Week....Again

Weekly Top 5

1. Ravindra Jadeja - 340 - A Test match, even a surprising loss, is Jadeja's bread and butter. Two fiverfers are not to be sniffed at - nor is Jadeja's progress. He has moved up from 13th two weeks ago to 7th now.

2. Phil Salt - 203 - Every now and then Phil Salt comes along with a huge score. This was one of those week with 133 runs across two ODIs. He moves up from 13th last week to 9th this week.

3. Daryl Mitchell - 173 - A largely underwhelming year for Mitchell but played a starring role in one of New Zealand's most historic Tests. Moves up one place to 18th.

4. Sam Curran - 142 - One of the more senior players in England's rookie ODI sides and showed he could be depended on. 92 runs for the Surrey and England man.

5. Shubman Gill - 121 - Put on a decent 90 in the first dig against New Zealand but then let himself down with a mere 1 run in the second. Moves up a spot to 14th on the Overall List.

Overall Top 5

1. Chamari Athapaththu - 4318 - Just the one WBBL game for the Sri Lankan this week that yielded 103 runs. Her lead on the rest of the pack is now 348.

2. James Vince - 3970 - Inactive again....and will be for the next fortnight. Will he still be second by then? Has a lead of 424.

3. Travis Head - 3546 - Inactive this week....but with a decent excuse. His second child was born this week. No points for that though.

4. Sam Curran - 3335 - He got the fourth highest score of the week and remains fourth this week. Lots more cricket for him in the Caribbean.

5. Babar Azam - 3178 - Did not take too kindly to being binned out of the Test team - nor did he like being out of the Top 5. Back in at the first opportunity that he had....but just 6 points ahead of Marnus.
