Weekly Top 5
1. Jos Buttler - 310 - Is working his way into form just in time for the World Cup. Can't imagine too many bowlers are looking forward to facing up against him in India. Hard to believe this is only the 6th time he has won COTW in his 3 years in the game.
2. David Warner - 284 - Every dog has his day....and this dog has been waiting a little while to have a day but a century and a half century in the same week bags him second place.... he also moves up two places overall to 15th.
3. Devon Conway - 194 - Underwhelmed in the T20 series but has done rather better in the ODIs. 111 in the first outing followed by increasingly less impressive performances. Has spent 13 weeks in 8th place overall but is a mere 32 points behind Jadeja going into next week.
4. Shubman Gill - 147 - A half century against Pakistan in the Two Day International plus a punchy 19 vs Sri Lanka puts Gill in average territory for the week.
5. Moeen Ali - 145 - Much favours the 50 over game and the switch in format sees a corresponding improvement in his score. Could be a bolter in the World Cup. Has moved up into the Top 10 and could make a late year sprint.
Overall List
1. Shakib Al Hasan - 4150 - Did not takes seize the chance to put a big gap on the chasing pack this week with a total of 33 points.....but here he is at first still. No player has held first place for longer this year.
2. Jos Buttler - 4092 - Buttler has spurting up the list intermittently throughout the late English Summer. He has finally moved back up to second....and it is not beyond the realms of possibility he could add to his tenure in top spot by next week's update.
3. Simon Harmer - 4008 - Harmer takes a red ball break and slips down to third, his lowest position in seven weeks. Harmer was our 2018 and 2022 Cricketer of the Year....but you feel like this might not be his destiny this year.
4. Shubman Gill - 3678 - First for the week and holds fourth Overall...and you feel he might be there for a while. He has 330 points between him and 3rd and 208 points between him and 5th. The Indian batter seems very insulated right now.
5. Sam Curran - 3470 - A modest outcome of 115 points this week, but Curran still manages to capitalise in Rashid's inactivity to return to 5th place after a single week away.
Other Mover
Hardik Pandya got 105 points from two ODIs this week and move sup a place to 11th.
Top 3 Averages

2. Shakib Al Hasan - 166 (Down from 171.54)
3. Ravindra Jadeja - 158.52 (Down from 162. 25)
The Asia Cup has not done much for Shakib's average as it continues to tumble - this week by 5.54 points. Warner's lowly average of 75.38 got a boost up to 82.14 this week.
