Babar Azam - The Best Cricketer of the Week

Weekly Top 5

1. Babar Azam - 291 - A big score against Afghanistan and a huge score against Nepal sees Azam get his fourth Cricketer of the Week award. He is now in second place of all time COTWs with 15 in his 4 years on the List.

2. Jos Buttler - 203 - Started the week incredibly strongly....and got incrementally lower scores as the week went on. Still a very decent weekly score.

3. Devon Conway - 94 - Got a decent score in the unsuccessful Eliminator of The Hundred and then failed to show up in the first T20I against England. A very low third place score this week.

4. Harry Brook - 94 - Started his T20I series against New Zealand well with a score of 43* at a decent lick. Has three more bites of that particular cherry before next week's update.

5. Shakib Al Hasan - 75 - A quiet Asia Cup debut for the (kinda) new Bangladesh captain. just pops head into Top 5 in a week where a modest score saw you finish in the Top half of the Weekly List.

Overall Top 5

1. Shakib Al Hasan - 3942 - Is scoring modestly over the last few weeks ( 67, 221, 47, 75) but is taking advantage of Harmer's inactivity to open a lead on second. He now has 210 points between him and the silver medal.

2. Simon Harmer - 3732 - His final week of inactivity before he returns to his beloved County Championship action. A good week will see him back into first place.

3. Jos Buttler - 3639 - despite a 200+ score he just narrows the gap to 2nd place. It is now a mere 93 points with two T20Is vs New Zealand for Buttler to get his teeth in to.

4. Shubman Gill - 3424 - His two weeks off has only seen him drop from 3rd to 4th. He should have played at least 2 Asia Cup games between now and next week's update but 214 points to 3rd place is a big leap.

5. Sam Curran - 3310 - S. Curran was so impressive in the middle patch of The Hundred (but then tailed away at the business end with scores of 48 last week and 50 this week - including the first T20I against New Zealand. Has a gap of 68 on Rashid Khan in 6th.
