Pat Cummins - The Best Cricketer of the Week

 Weekly

1. Pat Cummins - 213 - Will be remembered more for his First Test but only finished 3rd that week. Scored less in the Second Test but takes his first Cricketer of the Week award of 2023 and his third of all time.

2. David Warner - 131 - Doubles his tally of points for the year in the Second test for his highest Weekly Score of 2023.

3. Sam Curran - 130 - It's the old adage; one good game and one decent game will get you in the Top 5 and such was the case with Curran in the last group fixtures of the T20 Blast.

4. Usman Khawaja - 114 - Not as impressive as his First Test total but 97 runs across the match is a good week regardless.

5. Cam Green - 98 - Isn't quite living up to the hype this year but his score of 98 sees him in the Top 5 for the week and move up two places to 12 on The Overall list.

Overall

1. Shubman Gill - 3001 - Another inactive week - his third on the bounce - and his lead on second place is down to two figures.

2. Jos Buttler - 2904 - A meagre showing of just 21 points this week but Buttler holds on to second place and could see himself in first with a decent T20 Blast run in.

3. Sam Curran - 2818 - For the last month or so Curran and Harmer have been matching each other stroke for stroke, however the Surrey man got 37 more than the Esser and moves into the Top 3.

4. Simon Harmer - 2784 - Down a place from last week after his first two figure score in an active week since February.

5. Rashid Khan - 2682 - Back in action this week and managed to hold off a challenge from Shakib Al Hasan in 6th, who was also back after a lay-off. There is just 16 points between the pair of them with 4 more White Ball games to play out between them.
