Kyle Jamieson - The Best Cricketer of the Week

A bit thin on the ground in terms of completed Cricket this week, thusly we can do a complete rundown of the entire list for the week (and therefore) the year.

1. Kyle Jamieson - 106 - Being first in the fist week of January is a good start, but this time last year it was Jamieson's New Zealand captain Kane Williamson who led us out. Williamson ended up finishing third from bottom. The third lowest top score we've had.

2. KL Rahul - 78 - A half century in the loss to South Africa was not enough to see his India team to victory but is enough to see him finish second for the week.

3. Rishabh Pant - 67 - Never before have I seen a man criticised for a solitary shot in the way that Pant has this week. He finishes only 11 points behind second spot.

4. Glenn Maxwell - 11 - Not the greatest start to 2022. After scoring only 11 points in 2 BBL games he then went down with Covid.
